BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Valérie Boige is a trained hepatogastoenterologist, specialized in digestive oncology. Former head of clinic in the department of hepatogastroenterology of CHU Bicêtre and holder of a DESC of cancerology, she carries out her clinical activity within the department of Digestive Oncology of Gustave Roussy. Holder of a science PhD from Paris V University, she also carries out a research activity within our research INSERM.Her areas of interest are clinical and translational research in the field of digestive cancers, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal cancer.Member of the UNICANCER-PRODIGE cooperative group, she coordinates several national multi-center trials on the optimization of metastatic colorectal cancer treatments, in particular on hepatic intra-arterial chemotherapy. Her translational research activity focuses on prognostic and predictive biomarkers of the efficacy of colorectal cancer chemotherapies, in particular on the pharmacogenetics of anticancer treatments.She is the author of more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
